You are permitted to drive a heavy vehicle that has 3 or more axles and a gross vehicle mass greater than 8 tonnes and any towed trailer that has a gross vehicle mass less than 9 tonnes.
You must have held your car licence for a period of 24 months continuously or an LR or MR licence for 12 months continuously,
As each individual is different, as to how they learn and how quickly they pick new things up, the learning time can really vary from person to person. However, we generally find most people tend to take about 3 lessons and a lesson before taking their test.
Lessons are preferably conducted over two hour sessions to give you the most out of your training We recommend that you consider this when booking, longer lessons are available however due to the nature of double clutching and learning a new skill – you may become quite fatigued after two hours.
Yes! We like to organise your test so we can ensure that the vehicle and your instructor is available to accompany you for the test.
